How we collect, use and protect the information you give us through this website.

Who we are
Cityworks Real Estate Solutions Limited (“Cityworks”, “we”, “us”) is a property development company registered in Nigeria, with offices at 8 Ribadu Road, off Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect
We only collect what you type into a form on this site. There is no tracking, no advertising pixel and no analytics on these pages.
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and your message.
- Book a viewing form: your name, phone number, email address, the development you are interested in, your preferred date, and anything you add in the message field.
We do not ask for financial details through this website. If you are asked for payment information by email or message claiming to be from Cityworks, call the number above before acting on it.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, arrange and confirm a viewing, and answer questions about a development you have asked about. Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has contacted us about buying a home.
We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not run follow-up marketing campaigns from these forms. If we ever want to send you something other than a reply, we will ask you first.
Who sees it
Your enquiry is emailed to the Cityworks sales team and is seen only by the people handling it. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
Form submissions are delivered through a third-party form service, which processes the message in order to pass it to our inbox. Our email is hosted by our email provider. Both may store the message on servers outside Nigeria; where that happens we rely on the transfer provisions of the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we are in conversation with you and for [CONFIRM: suggested 24 months] afterwards, so we can pick up where we left off if you come back to us. After that they are deleted. If you become a customer, records relating to your purchase are kept for the period Nigerian law requires.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete what we hold, where we are not required to keep it
- stop using it, or restrict how we use it
- provide it to you in a portable format
- withdraw consent at any time
Write to info@cityworksnigeria.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own and does not track you across sites. It loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google’s servers to fetch them; Google may log the request, including your IP address. Nothing else on these pages calls a third party.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection and form submissions are sent encrypted. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive documents or payment details through the forms.
Children
This site is intended for adults buying property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
